I am a local Realtor ready to focus on your Real Estate Needs. A true McLean, Virginia hometown girl, I was born in Washington DC and have lived in Arlington and McLean for most of my life. Although I spent a few years on the other side of the river, I have the unique advantage of being familiar with Northern Virginia and the development of all the different towns and neighborhoods over a long period of time.

I bring many advantages to my clients. I am a natural teacher, and with a Bachelor's of Science in Education, I take as much time as necessary to teach my clients about all the different aspects of buying and selling homes. I make sure that each of my clients understands the issues that are important in being in the best possible position to make their Real Estate dreams a reality.

I spent the first years of my professional life as the owner of a local small business specializing in doing work for the Federal Government. These years sharpened my negotiating skills; I negotiated contracts from $4,000 to $3,000,000 in value with agencies that included National Institutes of Health, GSA, Department of the Interior, the Pentagon and USDA. I take pride in using my abilities to evaluate all the components of a transaction, and focus my negotiations on the aspects that will be the most beneficial to my client’s goals.

I spend a good deal of time volunteering in my community. I am passionate about providing value to the community that I have loved being a part of for so much of my life. Many of the benefits we enjoy in this community are made possible by local volunteers, from our Community Centers, the fields our kids play on, parks, community activities, and many other wonderful opportunities. I collect food for a local food bank, Food for Others. I helped raise money for the MYS Turf Fields. I am active with the Highlanders Boosters and many other local organizations. My favorite charities include the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (Light the Night), Juvenile Diabetes, Avon Breast Cancer, and many other causes.
